the guest experience | breakfast!

Bed & Breakfast clientele have certain and particular expectations. You have created a specific "personality" for your Bed & Breakfast through establishing a set of guest services and amenities that have come to be associated with the experience of staying with you. You have carefully developed your marketing plan to align with the image you wish to create, using that "personality" to attract your clients.

It is absolutely crucial that these guest services and amenities continue, in the style that YOU present them, while you are absent. Our role is to maintain your reputation, to be a transparent replacement for your hands and manner - this is why we insist on at least a one full-day transition period, to give us time to familiarize ourselves with the personality of you and your property.

To facilitate the smooth transition of service, we have created a two-stage information and checklist. The first part - general questions pertaining to Operations Procedures, will be emailed to you with your booking confirmation. Once we arrive, we will literally walk your property with you and fill out the second section of the checklist, noting everything from the location of breaker panels to the hiding place of your silver polish - we WILL be prepared! The good thing is, you will only have to do this once...

On the subject of preparation…once booked, we take it upon ourselves, on our own time, to research and become completely familiar with the area, town, and vicinity of your location. It is our responsibility to be able to guide your guests in your absence, and thanks to the miracle of the Internet and our local CAA/AAA, we have many resources at hand. Nothing can compare, of course, to your personal recommendations and familiarization, which we will ask for upon our arrival!
